Ubungo Plaza, Dar Es Salaam

The Ubungo Plaza is a twin tower build¬ing with one tower comprising of a 13 storey Blue Pearl Hotel and 7 storey office towers. It also accommodates conference hall and shops on the ground floor.

The building is powered by two transformers rat¬ed 2500-kVA, 33/0.4kV each and two standby generators each with capacity 800kVA for assorted important areas of the building. A combination of Toshiba Modular Multi System (MMS) and roof top package serves the office tower while the hotel is air-conditioned by normal split units.

The office tower is equipped with two modern fast passenger lifts and one cargo lift. Two passenger lifts serves the hotel wing.

Adequate water reservoir tanks to cater for seven days in case of water shortage from the main water supply have been provided in the building
