The 11-storey NSSF Waterfront House is a commercial building owned by National Social Security Fund (NSSF). The building is provided with a 1250-kVA transformer and two standby generators of 630-kVA each. Automatic voltage stabilisers and transient voltage arrestors have been provided to ensure quality power and protect electronics equipment in the building. Building safety regulations have been fully adhered to by providing fire detection and alarm system, sprinkler system, portable fire extinguishers, hose reel systems and emergency evacuation public address system.

The LAPF Millennium Towers is a twin tower building with one tower comprising of a 4-star Millennium Towers Hotel with 60 bedrooms, conference hall and a restaurant and the other tower comprising of rental offices. The ground and first floors of the building comprise of a shopping mall with banks, supermarket and retail shops

The building is powered by one transformer of 1250-kVA and standby generators of the same capacity. A Toshiba Modular Multi System (MMS) has been provided for central air-conditioning. The building is provided with three modern passenger lifts and one cargo lift.

Among other installations include adequate reservoir tanks to cater for seven days in the case of water shortage from the main water supply. Backup water supply from borehole has also been installed.

The Ubungo Plaza is a twin tower build¬ing with one tower comprising of a 13 storey Blue Pearl Hotel and 7 storey office towers. It also accommodates conference hall and shops on the ground floor.

The building is powered by two transformers rat¬ed 2500-kVA, 33/0.4kV each and two standby generators each with capacity 800kVA for assorted important areas of the building. A combination of Toshiba Modular Multi System (MMS) and roof top package serves the office tower while the hotel is air-conditioned by normal split units.

The office tower is equipped with two modern fast passenger lifts and one cargo lift. Two passenger lifts serves the hotel wing.

The 8-storey each twin towers PPF commercial development was completed in February 2008. The building will cater for rental offices and conference facilities. The building is served by 2500-kVA transformers and 4 generators of 630-kVA each. The building is central air-conditioned and the rain water distribution shall be through syphon-type drainage system called Pluvia.
